10-Minute Garlic Flatbread Recipe
This is a quick, no-yeast flatbread that’s soft, garlicky, and ready in about 10 minutes.
Ingredients (Makes 4–6 small flatbreads)
1 cup all-purpose flour (125 g)
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
⅓–½ cup plain yogurt (or water)
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Garlic Butter Topping
2–3 garlic cloves, finely minced
2 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or coriander (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Dough (2 minutes)
1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. Add the yogurt and oil.
3. Mix until a soft dough forms.
4. If the dough is dry, add a little water (1 teaspoon at a time).
5. Knead for about 1 minute until smooth.
Step 2: Prepare the Garlic Butter (1 minute)
1. Combine the minced garlic, melted butter, parsley, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
2. Set aside.
Step 3: Shape the Flatbreads (2 minutes)
1. Divide the dough into 4–6 equal pieces.
2. Roll each piece into a thin round or oval shape.
Step 4: Cook (4–5 minutes)
1. Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.
2. Place one flatbread in the hot pan.
3. Cook for 1–2 minutes until bubbles appear and brown spots form.
4. Flip and cook the other side for about 1 minute.
5. Repeat with the remaining dough.
Step 5: Finish
1. Brush the hot flatbreads generously with the garlic butter mixture.
2. Serve immediately.

Optional Cheese Garlic Version
Sprinkle ½ cup grated mozzarella or cheddar on a flatbread just after flipping it, cover the pan for 30–60 seconds, then brush with garlic butter before serving. This creates a quick cheesy garlic flatbread.
