Here’s a simple Air Fryer Egg Toast recipe (great for breakfast in 10 minutes):
Ingredients
- 1 slice thick bread (Texas toast or sourdough works well)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp shredded cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Butter or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes.
- Use the back of a spoon or a glass to press a well into the center of the bread. (You can also cut a small hole.)
- Lightly butter the bread and place it in the air fryer basket.
- Crack the egg into the center well.
- Season with salt and pepper. Add cheese if desired.
- Air fry for:
- 5–6 minutes for a runny yolk
- 7–9 minutes for a firmer yolk
- Carefully remove and serve immediately.

- Avocado slices
- Crispy bacon bits
- Hot sauce
- Chopped chives or green onions
- Everything bagel seasoning
Tip: If the egg white spreads off the bread, air fry the bread alone for 1–2 minutes first, then add the egg and continue cooking. This helps the toast hold its shape better.
