2. Low Fat
Rabbit meat generally contains less fat than many red meats, making it a lighter option for people managing fat intake.
3. Rich in Vitamins and Minerals
It provides nutrients such as:
- Vitamin B12 — supports nerves and red blood cell formation
- Iron — helps prevent iron deficiency
- Zinc — supports immunity and healing
- Phosphorus — helps maintain bones and teeth
4. Heart-Friendly Choice
Because it is lean and relatively low in saturated fat compared with many meats, it can fit into a heart-conscious diet.
5. Easy to Digest

Important Tips
- Cook rabbit thoroughly; avoid undercooked meat.
- Because it is very lean, avoid cooking it too quickly or at very high heat, as it can become tough.
