If you mean a natural home remedy for drooping eyelids (ptosis), there isn’t a kitchen ingredient proven to permanently lift a drooping eyelid. Claims that ingredients such as egg white, coffee, lemon juice, or honey can “transform” drooping eyelids are generally cosmetic or anecdotal, not established medical treatments.
A safer at-home approach
If your eyelids simply look puffy or tired rather than truly drooping:
Cool compress: Soak a clean washcloth in cool water, wring it out, and place it over closed eyes for 5–10 minutes.
Reduce morning puffiness: Keep your head slightly elevated while sleeping and avoid rubbing your eyes.
Gentle skincare: Use a bland, fragrance-free moisturizer around (not in) the eye area.
Avoid DIY eye treatments: Don’t put lemon juice, baking soda, undiluted essential oils, raw egg, or other kitchen ingredients directly on or near the eyes—they can cause irritation or injury.
If one eyelid has new or rapidly worsening drooping, especially with double vision, unequal pupils, severe headache, facial weakness, or other neurological symptoms, seek urgent medical attention.
