🌿 How to Clean Encrusted Pans Naturally
Remove stubborn, burnt-on food using baking soda, water, and a little white vinegar — without harsh chemical cleaners.
Ingredients
-
2 tablespoons baking soda
-
1 cup water
-
½ cup white vinegar (optional)
-
1 non-scratch sponge or wooden spatula
Step-by-step recipe
1. Add water and baking soda
Pour 1 cup of water into the pan and add 2 tablespoons of baking soda.
2. Simmer for 5–10 minutes
Heat gently until the burnt residue starts to loosen. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
3. Scrub gently
Use a wooden spatula to lift softened food, then scrub with a non-scratch sponge.
4. Rinse and dry
Wash with dish soap, rinse thoroughly, and dry with a clean towel.
✨ For extremely stubborn encrustation
Make a thick paste using baking soda and a little water. Spread it over the burnt areas, leave for 15–30 minutes, then gently scrub and rinse.
Important tips:
-
Avoid steel wool on nonstick, ceramic-coated, or enamel pans.
-
Don’t pour cold water into a very hot pan; sudden temperature changes can warp it.
-
Vinegar is optional. Never mix vinegar with bleach or other cleaning products.
Natural cleaning secret: Baking soda and patience usually work better than aggressive scrubbing.
